Spring Hockey 8-12U

SPRING HOCKEY

CYH & Parks and Rec are teaming up for 5 Spring Hockey Sessions.
Each session is 1-hour and will be divided by 30 minutes of skills and 30 minutes of cross-ice scrimmaging.
This is a great way to work on your skating and hockey skills, as well as get a few extra structured ice touches before the '25-'26 season tryouts!
$70 for all 5 sessions.

LEARN TO PLAY

We are hosting drop in ice sessions every Saturday 4:15-5:15 pm this Summer beginning May 24 and running through October 7! All sessions will take place at Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena. Please arrive 30 minutes early to get fitted for equipment.

NORTY'S HOCKEY SCHOOL

Mike Norton has been a cornerstone to the game of hockey, and continuing his legacy through Norty's Hockey School is very important to John Mahalik (Trine University) and Zac Sens (Bowling Green State University). Sign up today to join them in sharing Norton's love for the game and his emphasis on the importance of skating skills and puck control.

*Please note, skater placement will be determined by the course instructor upon in-person evaluation once the sessions start. Some skaters may move up or down from their enrolled placement based on their abilities and the requirements of each level. Be respectful of the instructor's recommendation - they are focused on what's best for your skater.

Learn to Skate & Hockey Classes

Hamilton Community Center & Ice Arenaโ€™s skating lessons follow the U.S. Figure Skating Associationโ€™s Skate with US program which is a beginning skating program that is fun, challenging and rewarding while enabling skaters of all ages to learn the fundamentals of skating and begin a lifetime commitment to health and fitness. The program has 6 levels of basic skills followed by specialized programs in freestyle, hockey and power skating.

Fall House League Hockey

Full: October 22, 2024 โ€“ February 22, 2025
Half: October 22 โ€“ December 21, 2024
Registration: September 28 - First day of class

Fall Classes

Register for the courses necessary to build your skating skills in order to further your development.

Adult League Hockey

Open to all skill levels. Adults, ages 18+, looking for a competitive yet recreational game are encouraged to come out and play.

*No referee on duty for Drop-Ins.

Friday | Year Round* | 9:15 - 10:45pm | $15
Sessions subject to cancellation due to special events.

Broomball
